Founded in early 2020, the Galway Trail Running WhatsApp group has been steadily growing for the past 4 years. Now nearly 250 people make up this growing community. 

The management committee of the group have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to transform GTR into an official, Athletics Ireland affiliated club. And today marks that day!
